Using the Library

Group Study Rooms


 

Group Study Rooms are available on the top floor of the Jennings Library. 

The rooms have whiteboards, markers, and Aquos Boards. You can access the Internet or use Microsoft Office from any Aquos board.

Study Room Policies:

  • These rooms are intended to support academic work of students working on group projects or studying together. 
  • You can book a study room for up to 3 hours.
  • Priority will be given to students using them for group projects.
  • Group Study Rooms are not intended for use as individual study carrels, as general-purpose classrooms, or meeting rooms.
  • Instructors may not reserve these Study Rooms for classroom use, office hours, or class meetings. 

Learning Commons

The Learning Commons is a space in Jennings Library for students to come and work collaboratively.

There are a lot of exciting opportunities to work together in the Learning Commons! Bring your laptop, Chromebook, or iPad to the collaboration booth and share your screen on the large display board.

Don’t have your own device? Chromebooks are available to borrow from the Information Desk.

Curriculum Lab

The Curriculum Lab is a specialized education library containing a collection of instructional materials for grades Pre-K through 12. The collection includes kits, big books, teacher and student resource materials, and manipulatives, from major school publishers. The Curriculum Lab is also home to the Library's Children's and Youth Literature Collections and serves as a study space for all students.

The Curriculum Lab is located on the second floor of the Jennings Library and is open whenever the Library is open.
