Welcome to the Library's research guide on award winning children's literature.
This guide will help you to locate resources related to the most outstanding children's literature. Jennings Library's Children's Literature Collection can be found in the third floor stacks and in the Curriculum Resource Room.
The Curriculum Resource Room houses literature for the youngest children. Our "Easy Books" are shelved alphabetically by the author's last name. You can find Caldecott Award winning books there as well as others. The collection includespicture books, board books, books without words, braille books and easy readers.
Non-fiction and fiction for middle school and above can be found in the third floor stacks adjacent to the Curriculum Resource Room. Fiction is shelved by the author's last name and non-fiction uses the Dewey Decimal Number.
