This course focuses on nursing care of adult patients with common and/or chronic alterations in health patterns relating to tissue perfusion, oxygenation, nutrition, safety and protection, sensation, perception, coordination and mobility. Application of the nursing process in the planning, delivery, prioritization, and evaluation of care is emphasized. Guided clinical experiences will be provided in acute care settings.
