Conducting Business Research

Conducting business research usually means researching companies and industries. Oftentimes, the goal is to determine whether or not the company or industry has potential for growth in value especially with regards to the stock price.

When researching companies you typically look for information about public companies. This means they sell shares of stock to the public and are traded on a stock exchange.

The ability to conduct basic company and industry research is important if you wish to invest in them.
