Artificial intelligence tools are widely available to the public through platforms provided by OpenAI, Facebook, Google, and others. Likewise, AI has already been incorporated into processes and workflows across industries ranging from healthcare to banking. However, there is currently no prevailing legal regime or ethical framework governing its development, deployment, and use. This page provides resources for you to begin exploring some of the major ethical concerns related to artificial intelligence and its use.

Citing AI

If you use AI tools in your work - especially academic work - you should be transparent about how you used them. Both the Modern Language Association (MLA) and the American Psychological Association (APA) have guidelines about citing AI-generated content using their respective citation styles. These articles also provide guidance on how to understand and use AI-generated content responsibly.
