AlphaFold provides open access to protein structure prediction. An AI system makes predictions based on a protein's amino acid sequence. This includes the human genome and 47 other organisms that are important to global health and research.

The Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics offers databases and software tools for bioinformatics work in many areas of study. You can search the collection or use filters to see the data and tools available for research areas such as genes & genomes, proteins & proteomes, evolution & phylogeny, structural biology, and systems biology.

This database provides datasets that contribute to understanding high-level functions of cells, organisms, and ecosystems. This includes large-scale molecular datasets generated from genomic sequencing.

The NCBI is part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and provides access to biomedical and genomic information.

RCSB provides an archive of experimentally-determined 3D structures, as well as tools to visualize and analyze these protein structures.

Uniprot is a freely available resource for protein sequence and function information. Also includes tutorials and webinars on using these resources and related topics in data-driven life sciences.
