Using the Library During COVID-19: Home

We are excited to welcome you back to the library. Our updated policies and procedures were carefully considered because the safety of students and staff is our top priority.



Chromebooks and laptops will be checked out for 28 days. Two-hour chromebooks are also available for library-use only. Click to view our check out policy on devices.


Interlibrary Loan is operating on a limited basis. We will try to borrow physical books through ILL  when possible. Book requests are subject to the lending library's COVID-19 policy. Journal articles may be available. For ILL questions, please email

Study Rooms

There are 3 group study rooms on the 2nd floor of the Library. These study rooms are intended for groups of 3 to 6 people. Advanced reservations are strongly recommended; reservations are prioritized! Rooms can be booked for a maximum of 3 hours per group.

Library Instruction & Workshops

Fall 2021:

We are offering in-person library instruction for the fall semester. Contact your library liaison to schedule a library instruction session!

We will also offer in-person citation workshops during the course of the semester.

Off Campus Access

You don't have to be in the Library to access articles and databases.

The Library's resources can be accessed anytime, anywhere with your NetID and password.

Caldwell University Writing Center

The Writing Center is still providing services to all students. Sessions will be provided remotely and writing tutors are available for appointments during their regularly scheduled hours.

To schedule an appointment, sign into CougarApps and choose CougarLink. Once in CougarLink choose Tutoring / Writing Center and then New Tutoring / Writing Center Appointment. Once your appointment is approved, the tutor will reach out to you regarding how the remote appointment will proceed (phone, google chat, hangout, etc.)
