You MUST have your ID card (with a barcode) to check out items and make Inter-Library Loan requests.
Place Holds
If there is a book you need but it's already checked out, you can now place a hold on that item. When it gets returned, you'll receive a notification that you can pick up the book. Just follow these easy steps:
- Search for the book you need using the search box on the library website and click on the record for that book.
- On the right side of the page, you'll see a box called Access Options. Click on the Place Hold button.
- You'll be asked to log in with your CU net id and password. Fill out the form and submit your request.
- You'll receive a notification when the book is available to pick up.

WorldCat Discovery helps people easily find and get resources from Jennings Library and libraries worldwide through a single search of WorldCat and familiar, authoritative e-content collections.
Discovery uses a single search box for resources in all formats instead of consulting multiple services and interfaces. WorldCat Discovery supports both novice and expert searchers. Enter keywords in the search box, or use Advanced Search options up front to refine searches, including through the use of database-specific indexes.
WorldCat Discovery will replace the current Summon search service and CalCat.
