About Library/Interlibrary Loan Accounts

JenningsILL uses the University NetId and password combination that is required for Blackboard and email logins. It allows patrons to place and monitor requests. Patrons can sign up for email or text notifications so they will know the moment their request is filled. This account also allows patrons to monitor loans of Jennings Library materials.

Some of the areas in the account are:

  • Checkouts - where you can view current things you have checked out.
  • Requests – where you make interlibrary requests and track the status of requests.
  • Profile – includes your name, email address and phone number. Make sure you check the email listed for library alerts.

First Time Login Steps

From the link below (or from "My Account" or "Interlibrary Loan" on the library home page), enter your Caldwell NetId user name and password. This is the same information used to log into Blackboard and your Caldwell email.

You will now be in your individual library loan account.

Textbooks

The library does not process ILL requests for textbooks.

Copyright Notice

NOTICE: WARNING OF COPYRIGHT RESTRICTIONS

The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material.

Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be “used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research.” If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of “fair use,” that user may be liable for copyright infringement.

The Jennings Library reserves the right to refuse a copying request if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.  By submitting a request you agree to comply with these restrictions.
